About ABBA

ABBA is a Christian prayer and spiritual formation app developed by Eliana Innovations. This Privacy Policy explains what information ABBA collects, how it is used, how it is protected, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and the display name you provide. As you use ABBA, we store the content and preferences you create, including prayer requests, journal reflections, testimony entries, Daily Bread reading history, notification preferences, and Kingdom Pause / Sacred Windows settings. We do not collect your precise location, payment card details, or government-issued identification.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve the ABBA experience — to save your progress, personalize your prayer rhythm, and remember your preferences across devices and sessions. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Your Prayer and Journal Content

Your prayer entries, journal reflections, and testimonies are stored on your account and are not shared with other users or third parties. This content is personal and spiritual in nature. You are responsible for what you choose to write and save within the app.

Third-Party Services

ABBA uses the following third-party services to operate:

Supabase — ABBA uses Supabase as its cloud database and authentication provider. Your account data, prayer content, journal entries, and preferences are stored on Supabase servers. Supabase is subject to its own privacy and security practices. Learn more at supabase.com.

RevenueCat — ABBA uses RevenueCat to manage ABBA+ subscription entitlements. RevenueCat receives your anonymized app user ID and subscription status in order to unlock premium features. RevenueCat does not receive your prayer or journal content. Learn more at revenuecat.com.

Apple — All ABBA+ subscription purchases and payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles billing, receipts, and refunds. We do not store your payment information. To manage or cancel your subscription, go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Subscriptions and Payments

ABBA+ subscriptions are purchased through and managed by Apple. Apple processes all payments. We do not store your payment card or billing information. To manage or cancel your ABBA+ subscription, go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, ABBA will send local reminders for Daily Bread and Prayer Rhythm at the times you choose. Notification scheduling happens on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in iPhone Settings or from within the ABBA app.

Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your ABBA account and all associated data directly from within the app. Go to Settings and select the account deletion option. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Please note: deleting the ABBA app from your device does not automatically delete your account or cloud data. You must delete your account from within the app before uninstalling to ensure your data is fully removed from our servers.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Your data is stored on Supabase servers using industry-standard security practices, including encryption in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your personal information against unauthorized access or disclosure.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your prayer life is your own.

Children's Privacy

ABBA is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through ABBA, please contact us at support@theabbaapp.com so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app grows. If we make significant changes, we will update the date shown above. Continued use of ABBA after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
